By accessing or using the Rentify Homes website (rentifyhomes.com) and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including tenants, prospective tenants, employees, and contractors.
Rentify Homes is operated by Motor City Rehab, located in Detroit, Michigan.
2. Services Description
Rentify Homes provides property management and rental listing services, including but not limited to:
- Rental property listings and search
- Online rental application submission and processing
- Tenant portal for rent payments, maintenance requests, and account management
- Property showing scheduling and confirmations
- Background and credit screening (with applicant consent)
- SMS text message notifications for account-related updates
3. SMS/Text Messaging Terms
Program Name
Rentify Homes SMS Notifications
Program Description
Rentify Homes sends automated SMS text messages to provide account-related notifications to tenants, prospective tenants, employees, and contractors. Messages are transactional and informational in nature — we do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Program Details

| Message & Data Rates | Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Rentify Homes does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. |
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any text message from Rentify Homes. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.

Consent
Your consent to receive SMS messages is obtained through explicit opt-in (checking a consent checkbox on our website or providing verbal/written consent). Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Rentify Homes. You may opt in or opt out at any time without affecting your ability to use our other services.
Data Sharing
We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering messages on our behalf.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features of our services, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
5. Rental Applications
When you submit a rental application through our platform:
- You certify that all information provided is true and accurate
- You authorize us to verify the information provided, including employment and rental history
- If you consent to background screening, you authorize our third-party screening provider to obtain credit reports, criminal background checks, and eviction history. A non-refundable screening fee of $39.95 applies.
- Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or tenancy
- Application decisions are made in compliance with applicable Fair Housing laws
6. Rent Payments
Rent payments processed through our platform are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Rentify Homes does not store your credit card or bank account details.
Payments are subject to the terms of your lease agreement. Late fees and other charges may apply as specified in your lease.
7. Maintenance Requests
Tenants may submit maintenance requests through the Tenant Portal. We will make reasonable efforts to address maintenance issues in a timely manner. Emergency maintenance requests should also be reported by phone for immediate attention.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false or misleading information in applications or account registration
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website or services
- Use automated tools to scrape, collect, or harvest data from our platform
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Rentify Homes website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Rentify Homes (Motor City Rehab) or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rentify Homes and Motor City Rehab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Property listings are provided for informational purposes and may not reflect real-time availability.
12. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
